EAQ has work intrinsically in Odour Science, Measurement, Mitigation and Consultation for the past 15 years, to include the operation of Accredited Odour Measurement Laboratories.

EAQ also undertakes Training and Development of Operational Staff and local Authority Personnel to undertake in-house and regulatory assessments of offsite odour impacts, Community diaries and complaints handling, Risk Assessments and Planning Recommendations; and Operational Odour Management Plans

EAQ has detailed experience in consultation for mitigation technologies ranging from fugitive release controls, extraction design from process emissions, treatment technology experience in Biofilters, Biotrickling, Wet/Dry Scrubbing and other technologies.

EAQ’s personnel have first-hand experience in the delivery of designed Biofilter Systems to include scheduling, project management and wet-commissioning.

Expertise in Services

EAQ's services in Dust and Toxics extends from small scale assessments of Cafe emissions from coffee roasting to large scale assessments of Gas Facilities, Land Clearing and Redevelopment areas.

EAQ's sub-consulting providers add value to our Projects in the areas of Asbestos enabling EAQ to deliver dust/particulate and asbestos assessments under one project directive.

Desktop modelling assessments of planned works, new facilities and Risk Analysis of pollutant emission sources are regularly delivered by EAQ using tools such as Calpuff, AERMOD and Screening Models. These desktop assessments are crucial in the planning stages of projects as part of due-diligence and choice of technologies.

EAQ conducts receptor and occupational exposure monitoring of fumes and vapours, mists and gases within industries such as:

Air & Liquid samples and Filter weighing is carried out in EAQ's preferred supplier Laboratories where EAQ has close relationships with lead chemists and technicians, and regularly liaises and develops sampling and testing programs based on specific analytes and targeted species for analysis.
